Wolffish is a deep ocean species - caught primarily for food. Two characteristics about wolffish leather: it is scaleless with a smooth texture; it is also spotted and all of the colors will display the spots except black. It is the largest fish leather in size. Size range = x-small (0.73 to 0.84), small (0.91 to 1.05 sq ft), medium (1.25 to 1.40 sq ft), large (1.65 to 1.81 sq ft).Average thickness is 0.7 mm.
