As we just finished our first Craft Show for 2017 - Unglued Craftfest in Fargo ND - I'm reminded what goes together for a great show for both vendors and customers. There was excellent communication leading up to the event. It was well advertised in local papers as well as on TV with a 4-5 minute segment. The venue itself was extraordinary - if anyone ever goes to Fargo - you owe it to yourself to spend an hour or two in the Plain Arts Museum....what a building! The hospitality of the director as well as all of the volunteers helping us unload and setup and then breakdown and re-load our truck at the end = fantastic! The crowds at both the Gala Friday night event and all day Saturday were great. All in all - a wonderful experience and we made several new contacts with a few vendors. Pam came away with creative ideas on a new bag (future spoiler alert!) and the salmon leather vest that Joe was wearing was remarkable and quite often received many comments. The photo will be up in our Fashion Gallery any day now.
Our schedule of Art Fairs & Craft Shows will be slightly interrupted in April when Pam & I take an 8 day trip to Italy - the birthplace of my mother. We are really looking forward to it. Joe plans to spend some time visiting the leather artisans in Florence and Pam hopes to get in on a pasta-making cooking class. Stay tuned!
We hope to see you an upcoming event. Check our "Where to Find Us..." for a location near you!
Spring will be here soon....
